Research conducted for Weight Watchers found that women are much more likely than men to attribute their weight gain to negative emotional factors. Making the connection between negative feelings and overeating, then having a list of nonfood “makes-me-feel-better” things to do when the blues strike can be one of the best tactics in a weight-loss bag of tricks.
